How many times have God’s children been hurt and offended? We may say, “I forgive, but will never forget.” When we say these words, we are holding a grudge under the false pretense of forgiving. Offenses will come, but they must not consume the heart. When a person dwells on offenses, there comes bitterness, envy, strife, jealousy, hatred, and anger. The list goes on and on.
